To conduct research on emerging networks and technologies, including 5G, IoT, blockchain, AI, and other disruptive technologies.
To promote interdisciplinary collaboration among faculty, researchers, and students.

Cisco Networking Academy Program (CNAP) @ NWUS
Northwest University Sokoto (NWUS) has become one of the Cisco Networking Academy in Nov 2023 under Cisco Systems, a world-renowned company that designs, manufactures and sells networking equipment. The academy offers industry-oriented courses with latest and updated interactive curriculum on CCNA, CCNA Security, CCNA CyberOPs, Linux administration and Server Configuration, Internet of Things etc. and some other value-added professional courses with hands-on practical training with Cisco devices and well-equipped Cybersecurity and IoT lab to enable the students ready for the current and future job market.
