In an exciting and recent development, Professor Ahmad Ibrahim Maigari, the Vice Chancellor of Northwest University, revealed plans to introduce two new faculties to the university. The decision comes in response to the growing demand from the public, and has been approved by the university’s founder, His Excellency Senator Aliyu Wamakko, and the university management.
The addition of the faculties of Medical Sciences and Law/Communication will open up new opportunities for students interested in pursuing careers in the medical field and in law and communication. A range of new programs will be offered, including MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, Public Health, Pharmacology, Medical Laboratory Science, LLB, Mass Communication, B.A Islam and Shari’a Law, B.A Information/Media Studies, and International Law and Jurisprudence. These programs will be available once the necessary approvals have been secured from the NUC.
The university is fully committed and prepared to support these new programs, with state-of-the-art facilities and a dedicated team ready to enroll and educate students in these areas of study.
