The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) Sokoto recently paid a courtesy visit to Northwest University Sokoto (NWUS) in order to discuss potential partnership and collaboration between the two institutions. The State Manager of NIPOST Henry Ayuba Baba, highlighted the challenges faced by the organization due to the neglect of its services. Emphasizing the need for students to understand the aims and objectives of NIPOST, the director also showcased the various services offered by the organization, such as EMS pack, special delivery, pillar box, financial service, and private mail box.
During the visit, the Registrar of NWUS, Mal. Musa Garun Babba, expressed the university’s kin interest in engaging NIPOST’s special delivery services to receive mails without delay.
In his remarks, the Vice Chancellor of NWUS, Professor Ahmad Maigari, commended NIPOST for recognizing the university and emphasized the importance of leveraging technology for effective communication in today’s technological world. Prof. Maigari also expressed the university’s readiness to partner with NIPOST and other professionals entities committed to the sustainable development of the university and its community.
