Following the approval of the innovative Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ahmed Ibrahim Maigari, the workshop was held at the university premises on 12th July, 2024. Where the idea came up from one of the amiable non-academic staff of the university Mal. Usman Muhammad.
The first paper was presented by Dr. Umar Shehu Jabo, the Deputy Registrar of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto on Work Ethics in the university system where he emphasized on Time Management and workers Attitude.
The second speaker in person of Mal. Jamilu A. Abubakar presented a paper on Embracing Change and Innovation in Higher Education; Navigating the Evolving Landscape he also shade more light on the strategies for fostering a culture of innovation, managing change and overcoming resistance at work place.
Furthermore, the HOD Sociology, Mr. Kamal Muhammad Sani summarized the first paper presented and the Dean faculty of Education Dr. Umar Muhammad Burwa summarized the second paper respectively.where the vice-chancellor also emphasized on team work which he described as a panacea to success.
Finally, the Registrar Mal. Umar Musa GB on behalf of the non-academic staff sincerely thanked the vice-chancellor for the great opportunity and privilege to know more on work ethics and embracing change and innovation in higher education in the university community.
