The public Relations Staff led by the Ag.HOD Malam Zaharaddeen briefed the Vice Chancellor Prof. Ahmad Maigari Ibrahim shortly after its first meeting since Mal. Zahraddeen took over the affairs of the department earlier this month. Relating, malam Zaharaddeen says the department is working out modalities to organize and lunch a campaign against drug abuse and establishing a student editorial club (SEC) in line with the department’s mission and objective of contributing to the general growth and development of the university. Ways to improve the university’s online presence and challenges of the department were also discussed during the session with the vice chancellor.
In his response, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Maigari Ibrahim expresses satisfaction and commended the department for the achievements recorded so far and encourages creating more innovative ideas for the success of the university and reassures maximum support and cooperation to the department.
In his closing remark, the Ag. HOD Mal. Zaharaddeen reassured the Vice Chancellor of his continuous commitment to lead the department in recording more success to the university. However, the Vice Chancellor expressed optimism in realizing the department’s readiness and commitment towards achieving their goals.
